This was the first furnature I ever purchased online. I spoke to Mr. Zin, the owner, and he was GREAT. He shipped (free) the furniture by an expidited and more expensive method (FedEx Freight) at no additional expense, so it was available for holiday guests. He also ate the "Black Friday" promotional price (10% discount) without complaint. He also spent time on the phone describing the chairs as best he could and explaining the return policy in detail. I'll order here again, actually, probably ANY online purchases will be from Zin Home.
The chairs are OK, and are probably fairly valued at `$1200, but are not a bargain. The frames are fine but the foam is very cheap, you 'bottom out' right from the start and they dont regain their shape very well. They looked '**** sprung' from day one. This is easily and cheaply fixed by either putting new foam in the seat or adding probably 2 inchs of temper material to the bottom of the foam.
The leather, also, appears cheap to me. The look is supposed to be, good leather, aged but is instead cheap leather, distressed. It will probably respond to some leather balm but I haven't tried that yet.
I'm not trying to be too negative on this chair but since you'll never see/sit on one its important to know what you are ordering. FYI this same chair is available from other national retailers at around $1600 + $160/chair shipping= $1800+ with tax. So the deal from Zin Home is pretty good.
Stylistically its a geat looking chair, and is very comfortable. I'll probably add the love seat in the spring if it goes on sale.
